Another friend of my RADs died

Post by marcw » Wed Feb 18, 2015 12:32 pm

The reality of my RADs world is becoming all to apparent. Not even two weeks after she lost her first friend to drug addiction, she lost a second.

I really don't even know what to post, but wanted to get it off my chest.

This one is hitting my daughter very hard as it was a girl in another Sober Living home. The manager of that home is a new manager and a good friend of my RAD. The manager is taking this very hard ... feeling an implied sense of responsibility for the recovering addicts that live in her home.

The entire sober living community (made up of a dozen houses) has come together nicely. Reality and support seem to go hand in hand on this journey.

Again, I just wish the family of this newly lost girl peace.

So sad - this reality sucks! Prayers out to you, your daughter and the poor families that lose their loved ones to the horrible disease.

How is is going to end? this epidemic of tragedies seems to just go on and on . we, the collective we of this country, have to find a sensible, rational approach to drug use that works and that will end this. I am so sorry for your daughter. I hope she will be ok,
Love to her and you,
