First Mothers Day without my son

Postby Texasnative » Fri May 18, 2012 10:23 pm

The first mothers day after my 25 year old sons death Six weeks since his death. Beautiful blue-eyed tow head boy. Sad. Different. Still doesn't feel real. His siblings came by in shifts because I didn't feel like I could deal with everyone together, highlighted the absence of my son. Thanks for all your support during this time.

So sorry for your loss. I am fairly new to this sight and was just reading the recent posts. I hope that time and the beautiful memories of your son will help to ease your pain. My son is 26 and has been a heroin addict for the past 8 years. His death is my greatest fear...my heart goes out to you.

Deepest sympathy...Laura

I cant stand it for you. I really cant. It is so
funny ,I was thinking of you today. My son is at
rehab, and i miss him. I thought of you and how
you must miss yours, and I thought of my sister
and how she misses hers,i know someday I may
be in your shoes. I just want you to know i care, and
it breaks my heart.

There are no answers for this kind of suffering. And there are no words that I can say to ease your pain. My thoughts are with you, always.

I am so sorry for your loss and heartache. I realize that I, too, may be making a post like this at some point in the future. Keeping you in my prayers.

With love,
