"Feel Good" movies

Post by Melissa » Sat Feb 04, 2012 4:53 pm

As a follow up to the "I Really shouldn't watch this Stuff" thread on the Forum's main "Family Groups" page---let's go for some belly laughs and put some lightness in our lives!!

Here are a few of my favorite funny movies:

Moonstruck (1987) with Nicholas Cage and Cher. romatic comedy. (I find it hard to believe this movie is 25 yrs old--it seems like JUST yesterday....)

Legally Blond (2001) Reese Witherspoon

Despicable Me (2010)
On the path to discover the peace of God, which transends all understanding.

OK, I love a good movie, especially one that makes me laugh.

I admit it...Blades of Glory with Will Ferrell is so funny. I also like the one when he was in NASCAR racing - and I can't remember the name of it. Oh yeah, Talledega Nights. Cracked me up.

This will show my age, but I was raised with watching Gone With the Wind.

I think "Raising Arizona" with Nicholas Cage made me laugh more than any other movie ever! Ace Ventura Pet Detective..hilarious. And Borat was just sick funny! Just thinking about these movies makes me smile! Thanks!

Love Moonstruck and Despicable Me....
Love the first Airplane with Leslie Nielson. It is ridiculous and some consider it "corny" but it makes me laugh.
Overboard with Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russel is cute, too. I love Goldie and I love most movies she's in.
Foul Play is another good one she is in with Chevy Chase.
And probably one of my all-time favorites ever...Under the Tuscan Sun with Diane Lane. This movie never fails to lift me up!

Happy watching, Everyone!

I prefer action movies like Ironman and the X-Men series, but I absolutely love "Mama Mia" and "My Big Fat Greek Wedding." Either one of these movies makes for a great girls' night.
