Nar anon literature

Post by Cpayge » Tue Mar 14, 2017 4:38 pm

Hi everyone!
I'm wondering what books you found most helpful in your recovery? If possible, I'd like to find a 12 step Buddhist book that is on the nar anon side of things, rather than NA. Please do not just limit to Buddhism books! Anything that has helped you!
Thanks so much

Ha, I love it. I also follow Buddhist teachings. But you will not find CAL approved Buddhist literature here! We do have a list of all CAL approved literature.

For beginning work with the Steps, I have found the Nar-Anon 36 workbook a great resource. It is my favorite along with an Alanon book Paths to Recovery.

You can taylor your step work to your spiritual beliefs. You might want to find a sponsor who also has your spiritual beliefs as well!

Namaste.
This is the easier softer way.....

I don't think it's approved but one of my all-time favorites is a small book titled (deleted, non-CAL) . It's a new look at the Ten Commandments. And I love it! He died a few year ago of a Brain tumor. I really miss this great thinker.

We can only discuss conference approved literature on this Forum. If you have non-CAL suggestions, please send the poster a private message.
The only wrong way to work this program is to not work it.

Blue Book & the SESH Book
Thirty-One Days in Nar-Anon
Nar-Anon 36 step workbook

For me the above are a necessity.
Step partner and/or a sponsor too.

All of the Literature is good. A lot of it
can be picked up at your local meeting.

I also subscribe to the Serenity Connection
News Letter on the .org site
I plan to get a guided journaling work-
book. I've heard it is an excellent tool.

Happy reading and Keep Coming Back!

    Hugs,

    DAnn
