Anyone Interested In Books

Post by hellokittyme2 » Wed Feb 01, 2017 11:07 am

Hi Everyone, I'm trying hard to come out of isolation and wanted to see if anyone was interested in books, in particular romance novels? I would love to meeting new people, walking the same path as me who would be interested in reading the same books and talking about it. If interested please let me know. I'm open to all kinds of authors but to be honest my favorite right now is Kristen Ashley.

I read all kinds of books too. A lot of women's fiction and mystery. It's hard for me to commit to a "book club" type thing though because of work and kids etc. sometimes it takes me a month to finish one book.

If you are comfortable with apps or computer, look into GoodReads.

Enjoy!

I am reading a Catherine Anderson book now-- nothing to do with addiction - just romance! Reading is a favorite hobby of mine. I have been an avid reader all my life -- thanks to a great teacher's influence in 3rd grade and a mom & dad who both read everything they could get their hands on! Romance novels are a favorite, but I like mystery and other types of fiction too.

I love to read. I'm currently part of a local book club because that's one way to read books I would normally never pick up.
I have a Goodreads account: it works 2 ways for me. First, It's my life list of books that I have read. Second, by reading the reviews posted on books, i have found like minded readers that I follow. It's a huge community of book readers.

As a teen I was an avid reader, lots of romance.

On a trip to the library about five years ago I found
many of the old classic and new romances being offered
to download even on phones through their website and
an app link.

Right now I'm on a spiritual journey of reading about the
divine of my ancestors beliefs taking the lead.

Hugs,

DAnn

One of the best suspenseful and romantic novels ever written is an old classic, Rebecca, by Daphne du Maurier. I read it at 15, and have re-read it every 10 years to see it in a new light. Its a very easy read compared to other classics, and a perfect way to get absorbed in another world.
