Fellow adhd person here
The strategy sounds good, but 5 minutes?
Seems awfully short to get anything done

Then again maybe that way, every hour u get 30min of good productive time.

I'm going to try ur strategy with a 10 min. Timer (and if its too short or long adjust accordingly)

It is AMAZING how distractible I can be!!

What meds r u on? I've only tried (edited) l but that ends up keeping me up all night or if I take just once in a.m. I really crash in the I didn't like the seesaw of that...just felt I'm trying to muddle thru without anything. Drinking more tea, but lately even that's not working.

Do u have organizational issues too or just distractibility?

We don't discuss alternative recovery treatments or
other prescription medication. We aren't professionals
here and realize that it is best left between you and
your individual physician.

I use a timer when I am researching online because I have spent hours researching which keeps me from getting other things done? I totally get the timer idea and it has helped me. I am working on organizing everything. Sure helps to have a place for for things. Keeps clean up much easier.
