Since my daughter was over 18 when she entered a recovery program, she filled out all her own applications for stuff and the staff at her recovery center provided guidence -- whether it was for health coverage, school or job, even helping with applications for grant monies to help cover things for her emergency auto repair and stuff for the kids. It is my experience that those working in the recovery centers know of a lot more options than I. Debi

Health insurance is part of the "system" and the "system" is often broken. Therefore, it must be "worked" to get what you need from it and what it is set up to give you. Working the system includes having to sometimes mold the truth into a form much more acceptable by that system. ;) Do what you need to do. Addiction sucks.
