'Our program is not a religious one but a spiritual way of life.' Blue book pg. 3
Join us tonight for a meeting on 'Getting in Touch with our Higher Power'
We hear a lot about a 'Higher Power' in Nar Anon.
Step 2: Came to believe that a power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.
Step 3: Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.
Some arrive here with a confused understanding of their HP, others have a well established faith. Regardless if you believe in God or not, you are can work the steps. Some call their HP God, others call it the program, the power of nature or the universe.
How is your HP working in your life and in your recovery?
How do you reach out to your HP?
Are you confused about your HP?
Do you struggle to 'let go and let God'?
Is it difficult to 'turn our will and our lives over to the care of God'?
Let's keep in mind:
'Addiction respects no particular religion; therefore, our program must be designed to help us regardless of our various beliefs. Let us not defeat our purpose by discussing any particular denomination.' Blue Book pg. 12
