Welcome Newcomer!

With the understanding that addiction is a disease and the realization that we are powerless over it as well as over people's lives, we are ready to do something useful and constructive with our own.

Then, and only then can we be of any help to others.

Welcome Newcomer!

Clicking on the link that brought you here is the first step in finding that
you are never alone, never again.

The Nar-Anon Family Groups are a world wide fellowship for those affected
    by someone else's addiction.

As a twelve step program - we offer our help by sharing our experience,
    strength, and hope.

We carry the message of hope by letting others know that they are not
alone; by practicing the Twelve Steps of Nar-Anon; and by changing our own attitudes.

    We will respect your anonymity.

Our program is not a religious one, but a spiritual way of life.

Please take a few moments to review the information contained in this announcements
section. There is a wealth of important information to get you started in your journey.

Read the experience, strength and hopes that our fellowship shares here on a daily
basis. Share you own in the form of a reply or by posting your own topic.

We understand.

Addiction is a family disease. It affects the relationships of those close to the addict:
parents, spouse, siblings, children, long time friends, and employers. We who care the
most suffer from the addict's erratic behavior. We try to control and are ashamed of
the scenes caused. Soon, we begin to think we are to blame and assume the guilt, fears,
and responsibilities of the addict. Thus, we become sick, too.
    Blue Book pg 4

In Nar-Anon, we begin to recovery, we begin to heal. We are glad you have chosen to
walk with us on this journey.

As we reach out for help, we become ready to reach out a helping hand and heart to those
in need of Nar-Anon. We understand,. We do recover, Slowly new persons emerge.
    Change is taking place.
    Blue Book, pg 5
