Aexbf called from jail

The last time I heard from him I told him to leave my house because I was no longer enabling him. He said to never speak to him again. A few days go by and I get a call from the jail I didn’t take it but I got his message asking me to wait for him and all this bs. I feel like every time I start to move on he pops up. It was very disheartening.

the good news is that YOU get to decide.

Once I realized that my Lo was manipulating me through this, it truly became easier.
Understanding that this was the only way he knew how to communicate
He had installed those buttons and was pushing them again and again and again

It was up to ME to learn new ways to react to those button pushes
It wasn't easy
but it was worth it

Working with my sponsor, journaling
calling program friends
learning a new way of living
realizing that I was not his puppet to manipulate

It didn't mean that I didn't love him just as much as I love any other human being
but I realized that I was not his trigger
his savior
the one who would be the reason he changed anything in his life.
